Thanks for your visit to my blog earlier and you are, of course, entitled to your opinion regarding slates. It's a view we shared when our pancakes/crepes arrived and commented on it too, especially as the ice cream melted a trail to the edge!.
I love the idea of a 10 minute challenge. Really makes you get a move on and not get too bogged down, and no danger of overworking! Your painting is outstanding - so full of vigour! Thank you for your visit and your encouraging comment - you are right, I need to start off small and simple and not try to spend too much time up there to start with. It's nice to have some new stash arriving to encourage me on my way!
I loved watching your creative process during the video of your work on the portrait. I've used my palette knife to paint before, but I'm not as proficient as you are with it. Blessings!
Ahh tricky the world wide interweb hey Donna, yes can tocmment on other post. I do so love you take on the doll face, dear friend. Very clever and captures it so well in few strokes.. I'll be honest I don't recall the ATC I made for you but am touched indeed that you keep them in tissue paper and even cried over them, upon coming across them, are you ok? Missing things perhaps.. the UK... or times past. I've no idea what it must be like to live where you do, but sending warm sunny 🌞 hugs and prayers 🙏🏻 for you from Downunder, Donna. ❤❤❤ Thanks for sharing your inspiration! Shaz in Oz.x
Love your painting. Especially the way that the colours fit the language of the quote. Happy WOYWW Sarah #24
