For those that comment here  - an additional monologue:

I was directly and indirectly affected by IRA terrorism, it profoundly and separately affected the young lives of myself and my husband - we are forever changed: those hurt by the events in Manchester need to survive and not become living victims of horror, it's very very difficult to adjust but it is possible, we just have to work hard to find beauty in despair...all those that have helped provide immediate succour - they are wonderful- but it's when you wake in a cold sweat 30 years later and the horror is still fresh that you realise terrorism really does work no matter what anyone else says...the knack is not to be afraid of the terror = let it come let it pass....  Once you find peace in the face of horror you can continue to live to the full accepting the good and the bad in this world.  Try to make a difference everyday by giving love to strangers as well as your beloved and try to bring kindness to all...don't wait for a bomb to show your humanity. Don't let horror make you a ghost.

Me?  I'm Glad I have a flushing loo...despite the fact it is free standing in one of our waiting to be renovated barns - a loo totally missing it's room...BUT.... Never again do we have to empty the camping poo loo...
